Michigan Musical Theater Summer Camp

$315.00

Students ages 6-14 will produce the musical Moana to be performed at the Lake Lansing Bandshell with live accompaniment. Roles will be assigned based on students’ interests, with every student having the opportunity to shine with solos and speaking parts. No prior experience necessary!

We will dive in to the creative study of our score and script as a mixed-age, mixed-ability cohort. Each daily workshop will feature singing instruction, choreography, theater games, and scene work. Well-designed lessons will support students as they gain self-confidence, poise and theatrical knowledge.

Melissa Sigh and Jocelyn France bring together decades of experience as music and musical theater educators. Our mission is to foster self-confidence, stage presence, and a love for the arts with a team of students, ready to work together to create a beautiful performance we will all be proud of. Performances will take place on June 19 and June 26 @ 2 pm @ the Lake Lansing Bandshell. Andy Wilson will return as a featured musician to accompany for the final performance.

Camps are designed to be one-week experiences. Please discuss with instructors before enrolling for two weeks of camp. Campers should plan to attend with a lunch, water bottle, and comfortable clothes and shoes for dancing.

9 am - 3 pm, June 15 - 19 or June 22 - 26 (Monday through Friday) $315
