Musical Theater Summer Camp
The Sunʻll Come Out… Tomorrow!! Students ages 6-14 will produce the musical Annie to be showcased on the final day of camp (Friday, August 8 @ 2 pm @ the Lake Lansing Bandshell). Roles will be assigned based on students’ interests, with every student having the opportunity to shine with solos and speaking parts. No prior experience necessary!
We will dive in to the creative study of our score and script as a mixed-age, mixed-ability cohort. Each daily workshop will feature singing instruction, choreography, theater games, and scene work. Well-designed lessons will support students as they gain self-confidence, poise and theatrical knowledge.
Melissa Sigh and Jocelyn France bring together decades of experience as music and musical theater educators. Our mission is to foster self-confidence, stage presence, and a love for the arts with a team of students, ready to work together to create a beautiful performance we will all be proud of.
Please attend camp with a lunch, water bottle, and comfortable clothes and shoes for dancing.
